Gucci could be opening a Detroit store.
The luxury brand posted job ads this week on at least two websites seeking a "store director" and to fill "client advisor" positions for a location in Detroit, with the jobs said to start April 20.
Gucci representatives did not respond Friday afternoon to an inquiry about the job postings, although Crain's Detroit reported that the luxury brand confirmed its plans to open a store in the city.
The only Gucci store in Michigan is currently inside Somerset Collection mall.
Reports about the job listing first surfaced Friday on Detroit message boards.
