Greg Cote Show podcast: Greg’s frustration with Le Batard Show; author of new book on 17-0 Dolphins

The new episode of The Greg Cote Show podcast, out now, is a little longer -- and even more action-packed -- than usual. Three main courses joust for the top of the menu marquee:

Greg discusses and admits frustration and a love/hate relationship with his role on the Dan Le Batard Show, after a listener notes Greg sounded like a serious journalist when interviewed last week on the Miami Mic’d Up podcast and elsewhere, but is “Curly of the Three Stooges” on Dan’s show.

The Father-Son Olympics continues with the 10th of 11 competitions, ping-pong, a signature event that finds Greg and Chris both guaranteeing victory. Somebody’s wrong.

Author Marshall Jon Fisher joins us to discuss his latest book, “Seventeen and Oh: Miami, 1972, and the NFL’s Only Perfect Season.” As the Dolphins prepare to mark the 50th anniversary of that season, Fisher shares stories from that historic team while Greg recalls memories of that season that were important in his own life.

This is our 35th episode of 2022 and 126th overall and we welcome you back as always.

Also in the new epsiode:

As NFL fantasy drafts near, the guys tease the upcoming Season 2 of “Hard Knock’s Greg’s Lobos.”

A discussion of the origin of the phrase “cut from the same cloth” leads to an unexpected question about where Chris Cote was conceived.

An update on the change.org petition drive to rename Mount Rushmore as Mount Gregmore.

We reveal the winners of our merch store’s Zoom Happy Hour contest.

Greg is blasted by Chris for his controversial praise of Antonio Brown.

Greg offers much more acceptable praise of Serena Williams.

And does Greg dye his hair? (Should he?)
