Winter Beanstack Challenge – Registration Begins
Participate in this month-long, winter-themed challenge filled with games, crafts, reading and a chance to win prizes. If you created a Beanstack account for any of our other challenges, you're already set to go. If not, set-up is quick and easy. Sign up at granvillelibrary.beanstack.org. Beanstack challenges available for adults, teens and children.

Teen Tech: Papercut Snowglobe Ornament
Take a breather and create paper-cut snowglobes. For 7-12 graders. Registration required. Sign up at www.GranvilleLibrary.org/calendar/month.

Tween Tech: Snowflake Stitched Ornaments
Using yarn, you will stitch up some snowflakes for an easy craft before the holidays. For 4-6 graders. Registration is required.

Overlooked Books
December's book is "The Thread Collectors" by Shaunna Edwards and Alyson Richman. Set during the Civil War, follow the stories of Stella, an enslaved woman living in Louisiana, and Lily, a Union soldier's wife in New York City, until their lives intertwine when Lily's husband goes missing in the war. Copies of the book are available at the library circulation desk.
