Update: Graham Police look for woman for road-rage shooting

A Graham woman charged with assault in a road-rage shooting on Tuesday, May 24 is now in custody after turning herself in Wednesday.

According to Graham Police, at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday two vehicles pulled over on South Main Street near the intersection with Ivey Road, and one of the drivers got out and started what a police news release called a “verbal and physical altercation” with the passenger of the other car.

One of them fired a gun, and the other was injured.

The suspect left the scene in a dark Green 2005 Toyota Camry, according to police. She turned herself in to Graham Police Wednesday afternoon and is now in the Alamance County Detention Center on $10,000 bond charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
