The Good Place star Manny Jacinto and How To Get Away with Murder's Aja Naomi King will come together for a new psychological thriller movie, which also stars Academy Award winning actress Melissa Leo.

Deadline reports that the trio will star in The Knife, which follows a family over the course of one night as a terrifying event threatens to dismantle their entire household and uncover the illusions of their lives.

Further plot and character details have yet to be revealed but it certainly sounds like an intriguing premise.

King, meanwhile, played high-flying Michaela Pratt, a member of the Keating 5, in How to Get Away with Murder, a role she reprised in an episode of Scandal. She has also starred in movies such as Sylvie's Love and Boxing Day.

Leo picked up an Oscar nomination for her role as Ray Eddy in 2008 crime drama Frozen Fiver, while she has also appeared in Wayward Pines and Thunder Force.

Actor and producer Asomugha is heavily involved in the movie, which marks his feature film directorial debut. He has also written the film's script alongside Mark Duplass and is producing the movie under his iAm21 Productions banner.

Jacinto will next be seen in Amazon Prime Video rom-com I Want You Back, which is due for release next month.

When they discover that their exes have already moved on, they hatch a plan to win back their partners – with rather unexpected results.
