If you’re looking to find the end zone through the air, it might be best to avoid whichever side of the field Joey Porter Jr. is patrolling.

Penn State’s star cornerback played 275 coverage snaps for the Nittany Lions in 2022, and didn’t allow a single touchdown (according to Pro Football Focus).

With an ideal blend of size, length, and athleticism, as well as the same competitiveness and physical playing style that made his dad a Pro Bowl defender in the NFL, Porter should be one of the first players off the board at his position in the 2023 NFL draft.

It’s still a wild fact that Penn State has never had a defensive back drafted in the first round, but Porter should easily become the first.
