'Good Morning Britain' makes yet another photo blunder using wrong picture for Bond girl Britt Ekland

Britt Ekland has become the latest celebrity to fall victim to the Good Morning Britain photo wall – after the show used a picture of a lookalike.

The former Bond girl appeared on the ITV show to chat to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid but was quick to point out that the main photo in the montage behind her was not actually of her.

Ekland said the lookalike “went to a Bond premiere years ago and everyone thought it was me, but of course I was not there.”

She added: “It doesn’t bother me. Everyone knows what I look like.”

The 77-year-old actress – who starred opposite Roger Moore in the James Bond movie The Man With The Golden Gun in 1974 - also said she does not believe there will ever be a female Bond.

Ekland was on the show to talk about her grandson Lucas being diagnosed with a serious brain disorder.

She said: “This year I was told by my lovely son Nikolai and his most wonderful wife Alison that my youngest grandson Lucas, who will be three in April, has ALD. ALD affects male babies. He will probably have a very good life because he had a birth screening. In the UK, they deny the birth screening... That’s what I’m campaigning for.

“There will be lesions on the brain by the time they are four. He has MRI twice a year and has had since birth and blood drawn every three months. The minute they get view of a sore, he will have a bone marrow transplant. And he will have a fabulous life. That’s what I’m campaigning for… I’m going to do everything I can.”

In September last year Bonnie Tyler left GMB producers redfaced when she pointed out they had used a picture of a tribute act during her interview.
