Glossier’s OG Balm Dotcom Got a Chic Update — Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Following the news that Glossier is coming to Sephora in the U.S. the brand has also switched the formula of its infamous Balm Dotcom and given it a snazzy repackaging update.

Diehard fans and brand enthusiasts alike are having a hard time accepting the news. As one of the first hero products Glossier introduced to its repertoire in 2013, the OG lip balm quickly became one of the most exceptional offerings in the portfolio with a cult following. However, change is inevitable and Glossier is committed to reworking, reformulating and developing its existing products from community, scientific and regulatory insights and shifts. The brand has reintroduced all flavors of Balm Dotcom with a no-touch applicator with the former limited edition flavor "Wild Fig," now part of the permanent collection.

Glossier also revamped the OG formula to a new vegan standard without petroleum, opting for castor jelly, a fully renewable and sustainable ingredient with more moisturizing properties. The price of $14 USD for Balm Dotcom is still the same, and the new and improved offering is up for grabs via the brand's website.
