Givenchy Collaborates With Disney To Present '101 Dalmatians' Collection
Continuing its partnership with Disney, Givenchy has just released a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by the 1961 animated film 101 Dalmatians, including a special animated appearance by the iconic British supermodel Kate Moss.
Designed by Creative Director Matthew Williams in collaboration with Disney, the range features fun references to the playful pups in the beloved movie in the form of spotted bite-sized handbags and comfy long-sleeved T-shirts.
Joined by custom animation by the artistic masters of the Walt Disney Animation Studios, the melange of garments is grounded in a color palette of an expected black and white, while a light pink adds a subtly colorful accent. Enough to make Cruella de Vil jealous, the collaboration includes a streetwear-ready varsity jacket adorned with a loveable portrait of pup Perdita wearing a G-Lock collar, nodding to romantic Paris. Elsewhere, artfully distressed denim is speckled with spots, while elegant pastel pink two-piece suits add a grown-up element to the collection.
