Girls LIT quarterfinals rescheduled for Saturday; Male-Ballard boys also moved

With Jefferson County Public Schools dismissing students early because of snow, Friday’s high school basketball schedule has been altered.

Officials for the Republic Bank Girls Louisville Invitational Tournament announced the quarterfinals have been rescheduled for Saturday at Valley High School.

Here’s Saturday’s schedule:

Christian Academy vs. Sacred Heart, noon

Mercy vs. Male, 1:30 p.m.

Manual vs. Bullitt East, 3 p.m.

Central vs. Notre Dame, 4:30 p.m.

Officials plan to play the semifinals Sunday afternoon and championship game Sunday evening, but times have not been set.

Here are other games set for Friday that have been rescheduled:

Male at Ballard boys, rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Pleasure Ridge Park at Holy Cross boys, rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Butler at Doss boys, rescheduled for 4 p.m. on Feb. 12.

Seneca at Western boys, rescheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday.

DeSales at Christian Academy boys, rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Jeffersontown at Central boys, rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday.
