Girl Scout cookies kicks off Sunday. Here's what you can buy in 2022 and how to find them

The Girl Scouts in El Paso and Las Cruces are getting ready to knock on your door, and this year they have a new cookie - the Adventurefuls.

Girl Scout cookie season - the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program globally - officially starts Sunday, Jan. 23.

What you need to know about the 2022 Girl Scout cookie season

Door-to-door sales can begin Sunday. And the cookie season will last through March 13.

Girl Scouts will also set up cookie booths at some chain stores and local businesses, starting Jan. 31.

Cookies can also be purchased online with local delivery. Download the Digital Cookie platform app on an Android mobile or iOS device.

Or customers can also go to www.gsdsw.org/en/cookies/find-cookies.html and fill in their ZIP code.

How much do Girl Scout cookies cost?

All of the packages of cookies will be $4 except for the gluten-free option, Toffee-tastic, which will be $5. All of the net revenue raised through the Girl Scout cookie program stays with the local council and troops.

Troops use the earnings to fund their field trips and learning experiences or to do a community project.

Adventurefuls (new this year)

The new cookie has a brownie-like base with a caramel flavored crème and a hint of sea salt and this reviewer thinks it's delicious!

Thin Mints

One of the top sellers; crisp, chocolaty cookies made with peppermint. Many people buy several boxes and keep them in their freezer to enjoy them past cookie season! Smart!

Another top seller known for its striped look, caramel and coconut with dark chocolate stripes.

Lemon-ups

Do-si-dos

For peanut butter lovers, this is one of two favorites: an oatmeal sandwich cookie with peanut butter filling.
