New York Giants wide receiver Kenny Golladay said Monday his anger was directed toward offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, not quarterback Daniel Jones.

Golladay was seen yelling while Jones was on the bench during the team's 30-29 loss to the Washington Football Team on Thursday and claimed it wasn't because of his lack of targets.

"Really that just comes with me a little bit. Really, I've never done anything like that either -- but really just passionate, just being a competitor," Golladay said, via NFL.com. "I love just doing anything I can to help the team. I let the emotions get the best of me."

Golladay and Garrett aired out whatever differences they had following the loss.

"I mean, that was literally right there during the game," Golladay said. "Me and him spoke right after the game. It was literally nothing."

Golladay, who signed a four-year, $72 million deal with the Giants in the offseason, has seven receptions on 14 targets for 102 yards and no touchdowns for the 0-2 Giants.
