First period

UND 1, Omaha 0 — Mark Senden (Judd Caulfield, Jasper Weatherby) 7:29 (pp). UND starts the power play with its second unit, as it remains in tact, and that unit stays hot. Weatherby attempts a shot from the left circle that Omaha goalie Isaiah Saville stops, but UND crashes the net for the rebound. Caulfield's attempt is stopped, but Senden buries it.

The persistence pays off as Senden strikes on the powerplay!#UNDproud — @UNDmhockey pic.twitter.com/D3ZnqiaYwB

Second period

UND 1, Omaha 1 — Brock Bremer (Kevin Conley) :27. Omaha wastes no time tying it up in the second period as Conley gets the puck with speed on the right wing, speeds around UND defenseman Matt Kiersted and takes it to the net. UND goalie Adam Scheel makes the initial save, but Bremer is there to knock in the rebound.

UND 2, Omaha 1 — Jake Sanderson (Jacob Bernard-Docker, Jasper Weatherby) 8:41 (pp). Sanderson shows why he was the No. 5 pick in the draft, getting the puck at the top of the zone, dangling Omaha forward Matt Miller, stepping in the slot and sniping the corner of the net.

A dandy of a move from Jake Sanderson and he BURIES it! #UNDproud — @UNDmhockey pic.twitter.com/MGxmfgX5ee

Third period

UND 2, Omaha 2 — Jack Randl (Martin Sundberg, Jason Smallidge) 17:17. Omaha ties it up with just 2:43 to go, when Randl finds a rebound of a Sundberg shot down low and beats Scheel.

UND 3, Omaha 2 — Jasper Weatherby (Jake Sanderson, Jacob Bernard-Docker) 18:42 (pp). Weatherby continues his torrid pace by scoring in his seventh-straight game. This one is a go-ahead goal with just 1:18 left. Once again, the "second" power-play unit stays hot as Sanderson dishes to Weatherby on a downhill attack in the left circle and Weatherby picks a corner.

Mother Nature? No it's Jasper Weatherby again #UNDproud — @UNDmhockey pic.twitter.com/ADi91VmFQ9

UND 4, Omaha 2 — Judd Caulfield 19:49 (en). Caulfield intercepts a drop pass and sends it into the empty net to seal the UND victory.
