Gal Gadot has announced she is pregnant with her third child.

The 35-year-old Wonder Woman star shared the happy news on social media in a post alongside her Israeli real estate developer husband Yaron Varsano and daughters Alma, nine and Maya, three.

Gadot captioned the image of her husband and daughters all placing their hand on her growing baby bump: "Here we go again."

She followed the caption with emojis of a black heart, an open hand and the blue Nazar amulet - traditionally believed to protect against the evil eye.

The Israeli actor's post came just hours after she attended the red carpet for the 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles.

Gadot wore a high-necked white mini dress by Givenchy, which skimmed her bump. She presented the award for Best Foreign Language Picture at the virtual ceremony.

The Justice League star married Varsano in 2008 and they welcomed their first child in 2011.

Gadot made headlines in 2020 for her cover of John Lennon's Imagine to promote unity amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The actor roped in a string of celebrity friends to take part in the video which she posted on social media, saying she had been inspired by a viral video from Italy, which saw a man play Imagine on his trumpet while quarantined neighbours joined in.

Gadot told her 50 million followers: "You know this virus has affected the entire world, everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from. We’re all in this together."

The video went viral, but came under criticism for being 'out of touch' with the real suffering of those who have lost loved ones to COVID-19 or ended up in severe financial crisis as a result of the pandemic.
