WITTENBERG - The Chargers shot 47% from 3-point range, making 11 in the win over the Chiefs.

Rory Salvesen led Wittenberg-Birnamwood with 19 points. Reese Rogowski and Melaina Granquist both added 16 points.

Rogowski also had eight rebounds.

ALMOND - Jillian Newby scored 13 points and Lexie Dernbach added 12 as the Eagles used a big second-half rally to upend the Wildcats.

Wild Rose led by four at intermission, before Almond-Bancroft finished the game on a 35-10 second-half run.

Laney Havlovitz led the Wildcats with 17 points and Emica Marquez chipped in 11.

Marshfield was led by Marcus Neve with 21 points. Brooks Hinson added 17 points.

La Crosse Central got a team-leading 21 points from Henry Meyer. Bennett Fried contributed 19 points. Nic Williams added 18 points.

Wausau West 5, Waukesha 4

WAUSAU - Grant Halmstad scored off assists from Judah Leder and Mason Debroux in the second overtime to lift the Warriors to the win.

West built a 4-0 lead, but the Wings fought their way back to send the game into extra time.

Thomas Gerum scored two goals and Leder added one and Jake Hane had a short-handed goal for the Warriors.

Parks Guenther made 53 saves in goal for Wausau West, which is now 2-2 on the season.
