Girls basketball

Martin County 40, Treasure Coast 31

In Port St. Lucie, Anna Witt scored 12 points and Amanda Gumina had 11 to lead Martin County to victory.

Martin County evened its record at 3-3 while Treasure Coast fell to 1-5.

Jensen Beach 52, Westwood 21

In Fort Pierce, Kiosha Smith scored 16 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked six shots, and Lauren Cioffi had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Jensen Beach to the win.

Amiyah Patterson added six points and nine rebounds, and Abby Fitzwater had five points and seven rebounds for the Falcons.

Velise Destile led Westwood with nine points, and Akeimi Vega had seven points.

Jensen Beach is now 2-1 while Westwood is 3-3.

St. Edward's 43, Florida Prep 16

In Melbourne, Alexa Soderman led all scorers with 13 points as St. Edward's rolled to victory.

Raina Duggal chipped in 10 points and Adterria Holloway had eight points for St. Ed's.

St. Edward's improved to 2-2 while Florida Prep is now 1-4.

Boys basketball

South Fork 78 Jensen Beach 59

In Stuart, Noah Josie scored 30 points to lead South Fork to victory.

Landyn Shaddinger added 12 points for the Bulldogs.

For Jensen Beach, Javin Dames had 15 points and Lansgton Worthy added 13 points.

South Fork improved to 2-2 while Jensen Beach is 0-5.

Lincoln Park Academy 55, St Edward's 53

In Fort Pierce, Lincoln Park held off St. Edward's for a season-opening victory.

St. Edward's was led by Dylan Redmen with 18 points and Conor Wolfe with 12.

Lincoln Park is 1-0 while St. Ed's is 2-1.

Girls Soccer

John Carroll Catholic 7, Somerset College Prep Academy 1

In Fort Pierce, Katelyn Cristaldi had three goals, and Kaley Brancaccio and Lyndy Dempsey had two goals each to lead the Rams.

Brancaccio had two assists to go with her two goals, while Chesney Kastrinos and Cayli Russo each added an assist.

Goalkeeper Kate Diaz registered two saves.

John Carroll improved to 3-2 while Somerset is 0-3.

Boys Soccer

John Carroll Catholic 6, Somerset College Prep Academy 1

In Port St. Lucie, Connor Zrallack scored five goals and Anthony Farrera added one for John Carroll.

The five goals in a game was a first for Zrallack.

John Carroll improved to 1-2 while Somerset is 0-3.
