Fox News host Tucker Carlson says only liberals believe climate change and systemic racism are real
Fox News host Tucker Carlson equates climate change to racism saying only liberals believe they exist
On Friday, while anchoring a segment on the wildfires affecting the West Coast, Fox News host Tucker Carlson blamed Democratic politicians for turning the massive devastation into a political opportunity. His words set Twitter off.

Tucker Carlson argues that climate change is like "systemic racism in the sky" in that it doesn't exist but liberals want you to believe its there. pic.twitter.com/dMaZ1QOtqy

“Climate change they said caused these fires, they didn’t explain how exactly that happened… but they just kept saying it,” the host said during Tucker Carlson Tonight.
“At the hands of Democratic politicians climate change is like systemic racism in the sky. You can’t see it but rest assured it’s everywhere and it’s deadly and like systemic racism, it’s your fault.”
He continued, saying “The American middle class did it. They caused climate change. They ate too many hamburgers. They drove too many SUVs. They had too many children.”
People on both sides debated the issue while others scolded Tucker for his commentary.
“Systemic racism in the sky” 🤔 As it becomes impossible for thinking human beings to deny climate change, the propaganda machine will resort to increasingly bizarre denial tactics.

This happens because the so-called climate change supporters explain things based on news articles rather than actual science articles. They oversimplify complex information leading to misconceptions. This often leaves room for deniers to make wild claims.

When ppl are literally getting arrested for arson……While the Gov of California goes out n say "The fires were caused by Climate Change". I would say Tucker is right.

I bet they didn't think they had to explain how climate change caused the fires, because if your brain works you can figure out that climate change= hot+dry+spark=out of control fires. Bing bang boom.

There are many people who are just generically bad…and then there are some who are so toxic they need to be removed before the nation can do any kind of healing. Tucker is the latter.

Carlson’s controversial commentary was also fueled by a tweet Joe Biden made about the wildfires and climate change, which was featured during the segment.

National fire officials say wildfires on the West Coast burned through more than 4.6 million acres. Smoke given off from the wildfires is causing unhealthy air quality levels.
According to CNN, 94 major fires are burning mostly in rural and forested areas. However, major cities along the West Coast — Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland, Oregon, among them — are also feeling the impact.
While some officials and researchers agree that climate change has definitely affected wildfires, it is not the cause of all the fires.
The El Dorado Fire in Southern California’s San Bernardino County first sparked from a pyrotechnic device used during a gender reveal party. That blaze has burned more than 10,000 acres since Saturday. Fire officials say it’s “one of the most dangerous fires” they’ve seen in the area, which is about 70 miles east of Los Angeles.
Meantime, the start of another major fire, The Almeda Drive Fire in Oregon, is now under criminal investigation as authorities research its possible connection to the discovery of a body.

That fire has displaced thousands of people and has so far resulted in two deaths.
