Fox News host responds to Trump's recent attacks

On Monday, Fox News host Bret Baier refuted President Trump's claim that Fox News "has changed," while defending the Network's early polling data. The President lashed out against Fox News on Sunday after the Network released a series of unfavorable polling reports. "Fox has not changed," Baier responded. "We have a news side and an opinion side. The opinion folks express their opinions. We do polls." Bair added. Baier explained that while the polls show Trump trailing the top Democratic candidates, it's still early, and Trump is competing against multiple candidates which impacts his numbers. Baier's distinction between Fox 'news' and 'opinion' divisions follows the President's praise of only a few select Fox commentators like Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Jesse Waters, and Jeanine Pirro on Sunday. But the President has had less than favorable things to say about other Fox News commentators like Shepard Smith earlier this month and Juan Williams last weekend. Despite disagreeing with Trump's comments over the weekend, on Monday, Baier let the President know that his many invites to sit down with the news division at Fox are still open. "Mr. President, we have invited you on a "Special report" many times, and we would love to have you back on, come on back. Me, Chris Wallace, the news side covering fair, balanced, unafraid," Baier added.
