Foul play suspected in case of UFC fighter's missing stepdaughter

Last week, UFC fighter Walt Harris pleaded for public help to find his missing 19-year-old stepdaughter whose damaged car was found at an apartment complex in Montgomery, Alabama on Friday night.

Local police announced on Thursday that evidence found in Aniah Blanchard’s car suggests foul play and that the victim had suffered harm. Prior to Thursday, police had stated there was no evidence of foul play.

Blanchard hasn’t been heard from since a Snapchat communication with a friend last Wednesday that she was out with a man, according to her mother Angela Harris. She was last seen in Auburn on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Dana White offers reward to help find Blanchard

UFC president Dana White released a video Wednesday seeking help to find Blanchard while offering a $25,000 reward.

“Please share this message and keep Aniah, Walt and their entire family in your thoughts,” White said.

Blanchard is a student at Southern Union State Community College in Opelika, Alabama — about 60 miles away from where her car was found.

Angela Harris pleaded for help from the public to find her daughter.

“There has to be somebody who knows something,” Angela Harris said. “I just want them to know that Aniah is loved. Aniah is just an amazing girl. ... Don’t be afraid. Just please, go call the police, call the tip line.”
