Forty Carrots to host 20th annual Educational Community Speaker Event with Michele Borba

Registration is open for Forty Carrots Family Center’s 20th annual Educational Community Speaker Event, "Thrivers: The Surprising Reasons Why Some Kids Struggle and Others Shine," presented in partnership with the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.

The free virtual presentation will feature educational psychologist and bestselling author Michele Borba on Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. Advance registration is required by visiting FortyCarrots.org, emailing events@fortycarrots.com, or calling 941-365-7716. The previous 19 speaker events have reached nearly 14,000 parents, professionals, and educators.

Borba’s latest book, "Thrivers," is an insightful, science-backed guide that helps parents and educators teach the essential character traits kids need to flourish in a rapidly changing, digitally-driven and uncertain world.
