Fort Myers under boil water notice after main water break

Fort Myers officials issued a citywide precautionary boil water notice Saturday night after a large water main break.

The break occurred in the Edison Avenue and Rockfill Road area, according to the city's website.

"Our crews are working to correct the break until service is fully restored," officials said in a statement. "Please excuse the inconvenience. Several areas in the city are experiencing low water pressure."
