Former LSU football running back Nick Brossette joins Brian Kelly's staff

Former LSU football running back Nick Brossette is coming back to Baton Rouge to join coach Brian Kelly's staff, Brossette announced on Twitter Tuesday.

Brossette has been hired as the Director of Alumni Relations and High School Outreach for the Tigers.

"It has been a dream of mine to come back and work where it all started," Brossette wrote.

In four seasons at LSU, Brossette rushed for 1,345 yards and 14 touchdowns and was named a team captain as a senior in 2018. In 11 starts that season, he rushed for 1,039 yards on 240 carries and scored all of his touchdowns for LSU in that season.

Brossette was a four-star recruit and the No. 16 running back in the nation in the Class of 2015, according to the 247 Sports Composite. He was also the No. 9 recruit in Louisiana and the No. 180 prospect in the nation at University Lab.
