A college football conflict grew out of control quickly at LSU on Monday.

Former Indiana football defensive tackle Ralph Green III was arrested and booked on several assault-related charges, according to WRBZ, which cited arrest records. Green was recorded outside of Tiger Stadium in handcuffs surrounded by police and security.

Green claimed that he was the reason that LSU won the 2019 national championship, according to LSU Tiger TV.

Green followed a woman into the LSU football locker room, where he cornered another person, per WRBZ from the arrest records. The police told Green to leave, but he threatened another person and and refused verbal commands, according to the report. The officers used department-issued tasers on Green, then attempted to handcuff him as he spat at them, the report said.

Green was brought to the LSU Police Department headquarters and taken to the hospital after being stunned, according to the report. Green was then taken at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Green was booked under charges of battery of emergency medical service, resisting an officer by force, battery of a police officer and public intimidation.

According to a report by The Daily Hoosier, Green was charged in 2015 while at Indiana with battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Battery and public intoxication charges were dismissed, but Green pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He served a one-year probation and did 50 hours of community service.
