FORECAST:

• Dense fog will settle in overnight.

• By mid-morning, the chance of rain enters the forecast.

• The high temperature on Tuesday will be near 60 degrees.

• More rain is likely Wednesday and Wednesday night.

• On Thursday, heavy rainfall may affect the western Carolinas.

• Isolated flooding could happen.

• Highs on Thursday will be in the upper-40s.

• Sunshine returns Friday.
