FORECAST: Cold front to bring showers in time for morning commute

Showers will likely develop overnight in our area.
The rain and possibility of storms will last through Wednesday morning.
Rainfall is expected to slow down by noon.
Expect highs in the mid-60s and with windy conditions Wednesday afternoon.
Rainy conditions will subside through the day.
Rain totals could add up to about an inch in Charlotte.
After that, more mild temps and clear skies are in store for the rest of the week.
A chance of rain returns Sunday.
