FORECAST:
On Monday highs are expected to be in the low 80s with plenty of sun.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be just as sunny, with a few degrees shaved off the temperature each afternoon.
Clouds will begin to increase by Thursday, ahead of Tropical Storm Ian. Highs will be in the low 70s as the storm approaches the Gulf Coast.
Tropical Storm Ian is currently in the process of strengthening and is expected to become a hurricane on Monday.
Models still don’t totally agree on the projected track, but the most likely timing for impacts across the Carolinas will be on Friday and Saturday.
