Food blogger Deliciously Ella names baby daughter after late mother-in-law, politician Tessa Jowell
The creator of the hugely popular online food brand Deliciously Ella has named her first daughter after her politician mother-in-law - the late Dame Tessa Jowell.
Ella Mills, who started the blog that made her famous in 2012, told her 1.6m Instagram followers that Skye Tessa Camilla Davan Mills was born on Saturday afternoon.
The baby’s first middle name comes from the late MP, who passed away in May 2018 at the age of 70 as a result of a haemorrhage caused by a brain tumour.

Jowell, whose son Matthew is Mills’ husband, was a key supporter of Tony Blair during his time in government and was in charge of London’s bid for the 2012 Olympics.
The couple opted for a home birth and Mills said on Instagram that the birth was the “most powerful, surreal, totally extraordinary moment”.
She added: “Beyond grateful to my husband for being a hero, the best support I could have ever imagined, our midwife and doula for making us feel so safe and supported.”
Mills said she and her husband are “completely in love” with their new arrival.
Sarah Lindsell, chief executive of the Brain Tumour Charity, offered her “warmest congratulations” to the couple.
She said: “We are honoured to have worked alongside them since Matt’s mother, Tessa Jowell, lost her life to brain cancer last year, and we are hugely grateful for their ongoing support as we honour her legacy by striving to improve the life of everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour.”
Since starting her Deliciously Ella blog, Mills has become one of the UK’s most successful online personalities.

Her trio of cookbooks were criticised by Great British Bake Off contestant Ruby Tandoh after they were credited with helping to popularise the ‘clean eating’ phenomenon.
Mills, however, has turned her back on the clean eating idea in recent years after reports questioning its health benefits.
The couple also opened a series of cafés in London, but were forced to close two of the sites after accruing debts.
