Following water main break, dozens of Bondurant residents asked to refrain from using water
Dozens of Bondurant residents are being asked to refrain from using water as crews repair a broken water main.
According to a news release, the Bondurant Water Supply had to turn off the water main between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday after a water main break in the 100 block of Alpha Street NW to repair the main.
Most residents between Blaine Street NW to the west, Grant Street N to the east, Northeast 78th Avenue to the north and the Chichaqua Valley Trail to the south are asked to refrain from using any water in order to avoid a boil advisory.
If a boil advisory is necessary, city officials say they'll notify affected residents with a note affixed to their home.
Anyone with questions about the incident is directed to call Pat Collison, at 515-971 6856, or John Horton, at 515-971-6855.
