It’s been a long season for Florida. At one point, the Gators were ranked tenth in the Nation, but they’ve fallen at a rapid pace since then. First, changes to the secondary coaching staff were made to fix the problem. Then, they fired now former head coach Dan Mullen after it became clear that the program was nowhere near where it needed to be under him.

One thing that hasn’t changed much for Florida this year is the depth chart. Aside from Ventrell Miller’s season-ending injury and Elijah Blades‘ dismissal from the team, Florida has stuck with the same group on paper and made adjustments as needed at game time. Part of that was Dan Mullen’s devotion to keeping his game plan a secret, but a new coach may handle things differently down the road.

Interim coach Greg Knox won’t be making any changes as he attempts to get Florida bowl eligible with a win over its in-state rival. The pre-game notes feature the same lineup that’s been submitted each of the last few weeks but there is some news at the quarterback position. Emory Jones, the team’s starter for most of the season, tweaked his ankle this week in practice. The injury was thought to be severe enough that reports came out naming Anthony Richardson the starter, but Jones returning to practice on Wednesday may mean both will play. On top of that, Richardson was listed as questionable on Saturday with an undisclosed ailment.

Kicker has been the other position of note for Florida on the depth chart. It’s been Chris Howard or Jace Christmann all year, and each has lost the job to the other because of missed kicks this year. Mullen went with Howard against Missouri, and Knox is expected to stick with him for the final game of the season.

Offensive lineman Ethan White should be unavailable again against FSU, but he’s technically listed as questionable for Saturday.
