Florida COVID update: 1,632 new cases added; more people in the hospital

Florida reported 1,632 COVID-19 cases and one new death on Monday, according to Tuesday’s report to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, based on Miami Herald calculations of CDC data.

Looking at these lower averages, in the past seven days the state has added 56 deaths and 1,230 cases per day on average, according to Herald calculations of CDC data.
