Floodwaters Sweep Trash Bins Down Street in Central North Carolina Amid Heavy Rainfall

Heavy rainfall brought flooding to portions of central North Carolina on Monday, May 23.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a hazardous outlook for the region through Monday night and forecast up to 3 inches of rain.

Minor flooding in urban areas would also be possible, the NWS said.
