Flesh & Bone Rehabilitative Massage opens in Sturgis
A grand opening celebration was held recently at Flesh & Bone Rehabilitative Massage, 800 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis.
The occasion was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce.
Owners Katelyn and Seth Winnicki gave a tour and talked about the business.
Katelyn has been a massage therapist since 2007. She had to take about six years off due to extra bone in her spine but hit the ground running soon after her surgery, she said.
“Luckily, I’m married to a builder,” Katelyn said of Seth. “I said, ‘You’ve got to start building immediately.’”
Katelyn said she began working at the business within the couple’s home about two weeks before her opening date of Sept. 1.

“The support from the community has been amazing,” she said. “The support from my family has been amazing. I couldn’t have asked for better.”
Katelyn specializes in deep tissue massage.
