Flash Flooding Prompts Multiple Rescues in Denver

Heavy rainfall triggered flash flooding in Denver, Colorado, on Sunday, August 7, prompting multiple rescues in the area, local authorities said.

According to local reports, at least 19 people were rescued as the National Weather Service warned drivers to avoid flooded streets in the area.

Local media also reported heavy traffic delays due to the flooding.
