Game recap: The Fightin Phils were unable to score the tying run despite loading the bases with no outs in the 10th inning and fell to the Patriots in a Double-A Northeast League game at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Rafael Marchan began the bottom of the 10th on second and went to third on a wild pitch. Bryson Stott and Madison Stokes then walked against Kevin Gadea.

Gadea then struck out Josh Stephen, got Grenny Cumana on a pop-up to the mound, and struck out Colby Fitch to end it and earn his first save.

Beltre hit a two-run homer in the fourth, his 12th, to tie it. The Patriots took the lead on an error by pitcher Josh Hendrickson in the fifth.
