Game recap: Francisco Morales' struggles continued and the Fightin Phils fell behind early in losing to the Senators in a Double-A Northeast League game at NFB Field.

Morales, the only member of the Philadelphia Phillies' 40-man roster assigned to Reading, allowed five hits, four walks and six runs over 3.2 innings. He fell to 0-6 in eight appearance and seven starts; he has a 13.50 ERA.

Morales is the No. 4 ranked prospect in the Phillies farm system by Baseball America. He went 1-8 with a 3.82 ERA in 27 appearances with low Class A Lakewood in 2019.

The Senators (13-24) took a 3-1 lead in the third on Aldrem Corredor's three-run homer, his second of the season. They got a two-run single from Corban Joseph and a two-run double from Corredor in the four-run fourth. Corredor had three hits and five RBIs.

The Fightin Phils (12-26) got solo homers from Josh Stephen in the third and Dalton Guthrie in the ninth.

Phillers: Brock Stassi, who Tuesday returned to Reading for the first time since 2017, started at first base and hit cleanup. The former Eastern League MVP went 1-for-4. ... Carlos Tocci, a former top prospect who played with Reading in 2017, started in center field for the Senators. ... Tocci played briefly with the Texas Rangers in 2018. ... Kyle Dohy made his second appearance with Reading since being sent down from Lehigh Valley and pitched two scoreless innings with four strikeouts.
