'Field of Dreams' star Kevin Costner not expected in Iowa for Cubs-Reds game
Actor Kevin Costner, who starred in the movie "Field of Dreams," is not expected to be on hand when the Cincinnati Reds face the Chicago Cubs in Dyersville, Iowa.
Costner, who emerged from the cornfield and delivered a memorable speech just before the start of last year's game in Iowa between the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox, did pay tribute via Twitter to the late Ray Liotta, his co-star who played "Shoeless" Joe Jackson in the movie:
In honor of @MLB at Field of Dreams this week, I wanted to share some memories from the movie but more importantly remember the amazing Ray Liotta. ‘Shoeless Joe Jackson’ will be out there will all of us for a great night of baseball in the fields of Iowa. pic.twitter.com/U6ADN8iQxM

Liotta died in May. Fox has said it has planned a tribute to Liotta during Thursday's broadcast.
Hall of Famer Johnny Bench is in Iowa to support the Reds. Earlier this week, he shared video emerging from the cornfield.
