FIBA World Cup Day 3: Serbia crushes Philippines, Luis Scola makes history for Argentina

Serbia continued their dominance in pool play after putting up another 100-point game against the Philippines on Monday (126-67). Sacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic finished with 17 points while Nikola Jokic had an easy 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 19 minutes. Serbia will face Italy on Wednesday.

Former San Antonio Spurs forward Luis Scola made FIBA World Cup history becoming the No. 2 overall scorer with his 23-point performance in Argentina’s win over Nigeria. Scola now has 611 total points passing Australia’s Andrew Gaze (594 points) and trailing Brazil’s Oscar Schmidt, who he might never catch, with 906 career points.
