Festival of literature and music: A guide to this weekend's Word of South in Tallahassee

Hundreds gathered Friday night to hear country music star Jamey Johnson perform at Cascades Park as the 2022 Word of South, a festival of literature and music, kicked off.

Fans were moving and grooving in their seats and on the amphitheater lawn as they enjoyed the live music.

Throughout the weekend authors, various musicians and others are taking to several stages to entertain thousands with live music, author interviews and more.

With things wrapping up on Sunday, the 2022 Word of South will proceed rain or shine.
