It seems Felicity Huffman's daughters won't be punished for their parents' mistakes.

Huffman's 19-year-old daughter, Sophia Macy, has nabbed a leading role in an upcoming episode of Jordan Peele's "Twilight Zone" series on CBS. The episode, "Among the Untrodden," will air during the show's second season, but the specific release date has not yet been announced.

The news comes just shy of three months after her mom was released from prison after pleading guilty in a nationwide college admissions cheating scheme.

Sophia graduated from high school in June, a few months after the initial story broke but before her mom's trial and sentencing. It has not been confirmed whether she's currently enrolled in any university program.

The fraud at the center of the criminal allegations was related to Sophia's SAT test: Huffman admitted in court that she paid $15,000 in order to boost Sophia's score by an estimated 400 points.

"Shameless" actor William H. Macy, her husband and Sophia's father, was not charged as there was no clear evidence of illicit activity on his end. It's unclear how acutely aware he was of the plan, but Sophia allegedly had no idea about the scheme.

Sophia also has a younger sister, 17-year-old Georgia, who plans to attend Vassar College next year, according to her Instagram bio.

Back in August, Georgia posted a photo tribute to her sister for her birthday, writing that her older sibling is a "kind and generous" person: "You forgive and you love without expectation," she wrote. "No matter what I always know that you have my back."
