When he's not coaching on the sidelines, Florida A&M coach Willie Simmons is known for his shoe game.

Simmons added to his sneaker collection on Thursday when he was gifted with a pair of Nike Dunk Low "Florida A&M" by APB, a retail store in Tallahassee.

A limited quantity of the shoes were officially released in a special launch at APB on Friday.

According to SneakerNews, the shoes will be released in its entirety on Oct. 18 via the SNKRS app. The cost is $120.

FAMU is currently in a year two of a six-year deal with Nike as Rattler athletics are provided with LeBron James uniforms and apparel.

The Dunks Low's are part of the 'YardRunners 3.0' collection which celebrates 19 Nike-sponsored HBCU's.

Designed by FAMU alumna Caitlyn Davis, the shoes official colorway is Orange Horizon and Fortress Green-Sail. They feature FAMU's logo on the outside of the tongue and the school's slogan, 'Strike, Strike, and Strike Again!' on the inside.

The school's founding year, 1887 is stitched on the pull tab with 'We Bragg Different' across the heel to reference FAMU's Bragg Memorial Stadium as the Rattlers hold the second-longest home winning streak in the FCS.

The Rattlers (3-2, 2-1 SWAC) will be on the road to face the reigning MEAC and HBCU Celebration Bowl champions, South Carolina State (1-3) at Dawson Stadium on Saturday.

Caitlyn Davis, a Florida A&M University alumna, teamed up with Nike to design a FAMU inspired shoe. The shoe was released as part of the "HBCU Dunk Lows" collection.
