Falls teen charged in $5K vandalism spree last month

A 15-year-old Falls boy is facing a long list of charges after police allege he went on a three-day vandalism spree that resulted in $5,000 in damages in two municipalities.

Falls police announced the arrest of the suspect, who was remanded to juvenile court, on Tuesday.  Neighboring Lower Makefield Police, where some vehicles were damaged, assisted with the apprehension.

Falls did not release the name of the suspect, who lives in the Morrisville section of Falls.

Authorities allege between June 20 and 23, the teenager punctured 23 tires on 18 different vehicles, knocked two mailboxes off their posts and removed three side view mirrors from vehicles.

The teen faces “numerous” accounts of criminal mischief, possession of a small amount of marijuana and other related charges, police said.

The affected vehicles and mailboxes occurred on Penns Grant Drive, Allendale Drive, Valley Road, Gainsway Road, Springdale Terrace, Ramsey Road, Daleview Drive, Countess Drive and South Crescent Boulevard.

Residents along these routes are asked to check any CCTV/Ring footage, depicting any activity during the late evening/early morning hours between June 20 and 23..
