Fairhope's Heavenly View Estates to offer site for weddings, other events

Guests can check out a 360-degree countryside view while celebrating marriage at a new venue opening Dec. 1 in Somerset County.

Heavenly View Estate Farm, located at 305 Heavenly View Road in Fairhope, is to start scheduling meetings with bridal couples and others who are looking for a place to host holiday parties and celebrations.

"I wanted to leverage this beauty and a higher authority said it can fill a need," said Joe Battisto, owner of Heavenly View Estate Farm.

Encompassing 346 acres in Fairhope, Heavenly View Estate Farm features the 360-degree, 40-mile views. The venue can provide scenic photo backdrop opportunities including landscaping, managed croplands, pastures, walkways and miles of trails. It has getting ready suites, ceremony sites, cocktail hour sites and reception sites.

Battisto grew up around the Poconos in eastern Pennsylvania. He said he had been yearning to buy farmland, and bought his first farm in Somerset County.

"I came out here seven years ago," he said, "and kept meeting a parade of fine people."

"I've been marveling at this farm for as many years. The previous owners really took care of it."

Heavenly View Estate Farm can offer both indoor and outdoor options for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions. The five wedding packages offer services ranging from the biggest wedding gala of 400 guests to the most intimate of events for two to 10 guests. The five wedding packages are Elopement, Micro, Intimate, Grand Classic and Grand Gala.

Heavenly View Estate Farm also offers venue opportunities for corporate events, fundraisers, parties, proms, family reunions and other get-togethers.

"I wanted to open up the beauty of the property to make it available to as many people as possible," Battisto said. "I researched other venues before deciding to open this one as a wedding venue.

"We are blessed in this area with many fine venues. Whether we host a wedding for 25 or 250 people, all the attendees are potential or future customers."

Battisto added that his goal is to make "every couple or customer come away from the event feeling like they got more value from it than they paid for. I do seek to make things as pleasantly affordable as possible for couples."

Heavenly View Estate is billed as an open wedding venue. Battisto said that couples are free to select their own vendors for catering, photographer, cake and music.

But he added that he can provide guidance, along with his approved vendors list of people who have demonstrated integrity and competence.

"I want to give people the choice. It's people I've met and have confidence they have a demonstrated track record. I've actually looked into their eyes, shook their hands," he said. "They are vendors that are at a high level degree of service."

The estate may provide all areas for the ceremony if it is being held at the site: cocktail hour and reception, climate-controlled restrooms, lighting and vendor required utilities. Additionally, the services of setting up and taking down of tables and chairs and cleaning up are provided. Free parking is also available to all guests.

"I am beginning to speak with couples that are elated to hear of a new venue with 2022 availability," Battisto said. "Because at this moment I have a wide-open calendar, I expect to help fulfill many wedding plans and dreams.

"I love the area. Love the people. They have a common sense and neighborly ethic that is dominate in the culture here. I just love the fine people of Somerset County."

Heavenly View Estate Farm's website is heavenlyviewestatefarm.com. Battisto can be contacted at info@heavenlyviewestatefarm.com.

"Submit an inquiry and I will get back to you in a timely manner," he said. "Dec. 1 I officially open, so if anyone wants to put together an impromptu Christmas party, submit an inquiry. I will promise a prompt response."
