Is Hulu’s The Kardashians getting a season 2?

Yes! In a now slightly infamous Variety profile (yes, that one), the family revealed more about the logistics of their new show between bits of advice for women in business. We learned that Hulu does indeed have plans for a season 2 of The Kardashians, giving us 40 episodes total between the seasons.

Back before season 1 even premiered, internet sleuths hunted down its tentative schedule and theorized that new episodes would be released weekly and would end with a mid-season finale of sorts around Thursday, June 16…which we now know is totally true, LOL. But because the first season had only 10 episodes, it *probs* means that the famous family's second one will also consist of 10 episodes.

When can we expect a season 2?

Uhm, that would be in just six days, people (not that I'm keeping track 😬). But even back in July, we were lucky enough to be blessed with a trailer for season 2, which i'll just leave here for your viewing pleasure:

Since then, another one has dropped and has only made me more amped:

What will we see in season 2?

Expect more tongue, LOL. Amid the family’s recent press tour earlier this year, Kris Jenner joked with Ellen DeGeneres that Kravis’s PDA makes up “98 percent of the new show.” Plus, when The Kardashians showrunner Danielle King spoke with Distractify about Travis and Kourtney’s Vegas wedding, she confirmed that cameras were indeed there, to which I say: OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG.

While we can also expect more Pete Davidson than in season 1 (as seen in that last bit in the trailer), we shouldn't get our hopes too high for a lot of Pete-centric storylines. After Pete and Kim's surprise breakup, Page Six reported that the comedian is “barely in the show.” Whomp!

“He’s in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete,” a source told the outlet of Pete's role in The Kardashians, adding that he's “a very private person” and that Kim “was always super respectful of that.”

“He was not on the first season. I don’t know how they’re doing the second season, but he’s not a part of that world,” the source added. Well idk about you, but I'm texting all my group chats as we speak, because there's no way I'm making it through the premiere on my own.
