Kathryn Hahn is returning as Agatha Harkness, and she famously sang the "Agatha All Along" song from WandaVision.

During an interview with TV Line, Hahn said, "who knows, there may be a little song here or there … but no one is saying anything about that—certainly not me!”

In WandaVision, Agatha Harkness' identity wasn't revealed until Episode 7.

WandaVision was considered the kickoff of a Kathryn Hahn renaissance, making her a household name—finally after so many years of stealing scenes in movies like Stepbrothers and Bad Moms and TV shows like the criminally underrated Mrs. Fletcher and Parks and Recreation. Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Emma Caulfield Ford returns as Dottie, one of the Westview neighbors caught up in the Scarlet Witch's scheme.

In October 2022, she revealed to Vanity Fair that she was diagnosed with MS and that filming WandaVision in hot summer weather exacerbated some of her symptoms. Caulfield Ford explained that she didn't say anything to the rest of the cast, crew or showrunners at the time, but that they all know now, including showrunner Jac Schaefer, and that she likely won't have to work in extreme heat anymore—and that if it ever comes up that she does, everyone knows that extra precautions should be taken.

"I am going back to work! Everyone has been notified that needs to be notified. I can’t put myself through what I did with WandaVision again. I can’t do that. They did nothing wrong," she said. "They had no idea what was going on with me. They didn’t ask anything of me that was like, 'I need to call my agent!' They’re asking me to just sit and chat and do my dialogue. It’s not hard."

How strong is Agatha Harkness?

Agatha Harkness is one of the most powerful witches in the MCU, rivaled only by the Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange and the Sorceror Supreme in terms of magic prowess on Earth.

Why is Agatha's magic purple?

WandaVision director Matt Shakman explained that Agatha Harkness' purple magic was established to differentiate it from others in the MCU, including the blue magic of her coven, as well as Wanda's red magic and Dr. Strange's gold tones.

"In terms of color differentiation, I think it's important because when you're trying to describe what's happening, especially with Agatha in Salem, Massachusetts, you want to be able to see her purple magic eat away at that blue magic, right? Because that's what she does, she absorbs power, she's taking the magic from the other witches," he told ComicBook.com. "Which is why they look so, you know, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade at the end of that scene, because she's literally sucked all of their, their sort of magic in life from them."

He added, "So for us, in terms of color coding for that scene, that was, you know, one of the biggest reasons why it's like that. And of course, Wanda's magic has been established, but we're evolving it and changing it as we go."
