Everton Fans Invade Pitch to Celebrate Relegation Escape

Jubilant Everton fans invaded the pitch at Goodison Park after a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace on May 19 secured their top-flight status for next season.

Steven Wallis recorded himself running onto the pitch and celebrating with Everton player Abdoulaye Doucoure. The win means that Everton will not be relegated from the Premier League and will return for their 69th consecutive season in the top division.

Everton found themselves 2-0 down to the visitors at half-time, but the remarkable turnaround was completed by Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the 85th minute, to the joy and relief of the home fans.
