A massive £167.5 million is up for grabs in the next EuroMillions draw after the jackpot rolled over for a record 18th time.

No-one managed to match all five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers in Friday’s draw, which means the sum increases on Tuesday.

A lucky person could become the UK’s biggest EuroMillions winner if they scoop the prize.

The current record-holders for the biggest ever lottery win are Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs in North Ayrshire, Scotland, who won £161 million in 2011.

Adrian and Gillian Bayford, from Suffolk, took home more than £148 million in August 2012.

The National Lottery’s Andy Carter said: ‘The EuroMillions jackpot rolls on to Tuesday night when a huge £167 million jackpot is up for grabs.

‘Players are urged to get their tickets early to be in with a chance of banking a life-changing prize.

‘This means if Tuesday’s enormous jackpot is won, we could be looking at the UK’s biggest ever winner.

‘The roll has reached a maximum cap of 190 million euro which, subject to exchange rates, is an estimated £167 million.

‘Now it’s at the maximum, any money that would have gone into boosting the jackpot will be shared among players in the next prize tier with winners.

‘This means the draw could make lots of multi-millionaires, probably for players matching five main numbers and just one Lucky Star.’

Friday’s main winning numbers were 8, 21, 25, 38 and 50 and the two Lucky Star numbers were 4 and 8.

The jackpot was £167m.
