ESPN updates its college football power rankings after Week 8. Where is Ohio State?

Everyone has an opinion it seems when it comes to the passion and debate of the great sport of college football in this country. And if you’re looking for some of the opinion makers, many can be found at ESPN.

Each week, the college football staff at the behemoth sports media outlet works together to come up with an updated college football power rankings list, and it’s no different after a wild and entertaining Week 8 of the sport.

Ohio State laid the wood on Iowa’s lowly offense on Saturday. Alabama got back to its winning ways. Tennessee did what it should against UT Martin, while Michigan and Georgia had a week off.

But how did all the action of this past weekend affect where ESPN thinks the power of college football resides?

Here’s a look at the updated ESPN top 25 power rankings after Week 8.
