ESPN Bracketology expert predicts Crimson Tide as a one-seed in March Madness

The Alabama Crimson Tide survived their first real scare of the SEC season on Wednesday night against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Despite trailing for almost the entire game, Nate Oats’s squad was able to escape Coleman Coliseum by a score of 66-63.

It is pretty difficult to dispute that Alabama has often looked like the best team in the country. The Tide are 18-2 on the year with eight wins in the SEC and the win over Mississippi State was the only single-digit game of the conference season so far.

ESPN’s bracketology expert, Joe Lunardi, still predicts that the Crimson Tide will be a one-seed come March Madness time. The Tide have played the fourth toughest schedule so far to date, so things start to get a little bit easier the second half of the season.

If Brandon Miller continues to play like a top five NBA draft pick, Alabama could very well compete for a national championship.
