Have you ever gone shopping, spotted a specific design, and immediately associated it with someone you know who wears similar items? That’s kind of how we feel about leopard coats and Emma Roberts. Looking back at old photos, the actress has been bundling up with this timeless staple since at least 2012. Sure, she owns other classic and more subtle options, like sleek black overcoats and leather jackets. But, once fall and winter roll around, we expect to spot her in this eye-catching animal print at least once.
Roberts' doesn't just enjoy leopard coats in real life, either. Her go-to layer has also made an appearance on screen, most recently in Netflix's Holidate. In one particular scene, her character, Sloane, bumps into her ex while wearing a less-than-ideal outfit, but our eyes admittedly focused on her bold, fuzzy outerwear, which definitely amped up her look.

Last year, Roberts shared with InStyle just how much she loves her leopard coats.
"I love doing just a little black dress, with black, sheer Wolford tights, a trusty boot — mine's usually a Chloé boot — and a leopard coat," she said. "I love a good leopard piece for the fall."
