Edwardsville to host 'Market in the Park' event Sept. 18

Aug. 2—EDWARDSVILLE — The Edwardsville Hometown Committee will host its 4th annual Market in the Park "End of Summer Craft, Vendor and Food Fair" on Sept. 18, in John Hopkins Memorial Park, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rain date for the vent is Sunday, Sept 19.

"All are welcome — we have tons of room," said Jackie Moran of the committee.

Moran said the group is seeking all types of crafts vendors, artisans, new merchandise vendors, farm produce, nonprofits/children's groups, borough churches, food trucks etc., with a vendor cost of $20 per 10-foot x 10-foot space. She said food truck cost is $50.

Registration is due by Sept. 12. Moran said applications and all details can be found at the website: edwpierogi.com.

Or applications can be dropped off in person at the Edwardsville Borough Building on Main Street and placed in the committee drop off box located inside the building near the administrative offices.

Moran said proceeds benefit the Edwardsville Hometown committee community projects and activities.
